Hey everyone, my name is Jason Smith. I am a pastor at Grace Point Community Church in Tigard, Oregon, and I’m glad you decided to check out my blog. I am married to a beautiful woman I don’t deserve named Whitney, and together we have four kids: Logan (10), known for his love of drawing, reading novels, and building Legos, Weston (8), known for his ability to eat a lot and do flips on the trampoline, Ryan (5), known for his love of shoes and listening to TobyMac, and Bethany (1) who charms everyone she meets while she is learning to talk and keep up with her older brothers.

Whitney and I love to travel, spend time with family and friends, and cheer on our Seahawks. As a family, the six of us love to visit the beach, the zoo, and any park in town. We love to eat Mexican food, drink Dutch Bros. and read epic tales of hobbits and giraffes that just can’t dance.

With all my heart, I love the Lord Jesus Christ who has utterly transformed my life from the inside out. One of the greatest thrills in life is having opportunities to share His joy with others. He is the reason for my existence, my hope in life and death, and if there is one thing that will be said of me at the end of my life, I hope it is this: this man lived for Jesus.
